I GET BY WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS

I GET BY WITH A LITTLE
HELP FROM MY FRIENDS

It's true!

Another fun filled Saturday with
my PSMWG buddies!

Since I've been in "Bracelet making" mode,
I decided to make my friends special PSMWG
bracelets. I made them identical, each with a handmade, painted polymer clay bead, with the text: "I get by with a little help from my friends"..... on the backs of each one.
They really loved them and that made me happy.
I have the bestest friends in the whole wide world, I really do.

So, we all met up at Cozumels Mexican restaurant,
and enjoyed "a few" very tasty Margaritas.
We laughed ourselves silly, singing.... and "entertaining" the other customers. One actually came over to our table thanking us for amusing them LOL.

We headed back to our host Sheila's house where we "sexually harassed' her adorable and very patient husband Ronnie. Who, calmly continued to eat the Mexican food Sheila brought him and didn't even bat an eye at our "antics!"

It was a beautiful sunny day and Gloria was itching to just GOO! she didn't want to sit around the table as we usually do, gabbing away.
So, we all headed for "Bam Boozles" a fun bar not too far away.
We had a great time as usual, and Gloria was the social butterfly, fluttering about, talking to everyone!
We headed back to Sheila's, but not before paying a quick visit to Ronnie, who was waiting at the neighborhood watering hole. Our visit was brief, but we made our presence known......Singing along to the Jukebox song: "DON'T STOP BELIEVING" to the top of our lungs!!!

WE HAD BIG FUN!
And lots of coffee at Sheila's
We headed out. Gloria & I stopped at a very cold & very noisy Denny's. But the awesome
Burger made it all worth it.
Got my car, and made it home by 3 a.m.
wow.. This "party hard stay out late" stuff is not
as easy at it used to be back in the day, but still
FUNNN!

"DON'T STOPPP BELIEVINGGGG.. HOLD ON
TO THE FEEEEELINGGGG".....

HAPPY ST PATTY'S DAY!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I was busy in my artroom all weekend.. (*BLISS!*)
making more WORD bracelets.
I've got several more I'm working on.
I've only posted a few on ETSY So far, but I'll get the other's on soon.

I'm excited that SPRING is just 4 days away!
And Daylight Savings Time is here.. and the SUN is still shining on my way home now.

We all know that we can still get plenty of Snow... but we're the eternal optimists and pray Spring will be Green and not White.

Nothing much else happening.
just another week flying by.

I'm upset (just a little) that I missed American Idol tonight. I'll have to see if I can find it online someplace.

I really love CRYSTAL BOWERSOX... I think she's gonna win!... and she's from Ohio too.

That's all for now....
need to find a Green shirt to wear to work tomorrow... We're all IRISH on St. Patty's day

right?

HAPPY MARCH!

HAPPY MARCH!

Snowy February is behind us, although the snow still lingers, the days are going to get warmer and longer. Daylight savings time is just 2 weeks away and Spring is just 20 days away! Yes...it's on my calendar! no more driving home in the dark or almost dark....soon!

It's Sunday.. well.. really Monday morning.. 2:10 a.m...
I was so lucky to have this weekend off.. and be able to stay in my "comfy clothes" and do art!
I was making "WORD Bracelets."
My sister Susan has been making really cool bracelets and they inspired me to make some too. You can visit her ETSY SHOP at: ARTHEADED.ETSY.COM She's got really awesome paintings, jewelry and other goodies there.

So, I decided to make Polymer Clay beads. I painted them, then added collage bits to some. On the back side of each bead, I added a word or phrase, so each bead can be flipped for two different looks. The hardest part was stringing the beads, actually choosing which ones to use. I would clear the strand 2-3 times before I would be happy with them!
I also made a couple pairs of earrings with the Polymer clay.

So I actually got something done! instead of just talking about it!

And so another Monday.............................eh.
I hope this week goes as fast as last week did.

We still have so much snow, I don't think it ever left the ground the whole month.
But now they're talking about temps in the 40's by the end of the week! that should do the trick!

Well that's all for now
just a quick one.

Better get to bed so I don't wake up like a Zombie in the morn.

Hope you have a great week!
